NBK Capital held a lecture for students of the Kuwait University College of Business Administration – Finance & Financial Institutions Department, introducing students to investing in equity markets. The lecture explored the concept of risk and return, recent developments in regional markets, in particular the upgrade of Kuwait Boursa to an Emerging Market by FTSE, as well as best practices in company analysis, valuation, and investment decisions.
Presented by the division of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Asset Management at NBK Capital, headed by Dr. Husayn Shahrur, and with the participation of Mr. Talal Al-Khamis and Ms. Eithar Al-Rushaid, the lecture comes as part of NBK Capital’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
